Half-Elf – ©2011 Kort Kramer In Norse mythology, a half-elf is the offspring of an elf and a human and the concept has been borrowed by modern fantasy authors. Half-elves gained popularity in the writings of English fantasy author J. R. R. Tolkien and are featured in Dungeons & Dragons and related material. This particular half-elf is modeled after a minor villian named Pompey in the web comic The Order of the Stick.
