August 21, 2008: Kort has joined the social networking crowd on sites such as twitter, LinkedIn and FaceBook. You can see his FaceBook profile (and some of his IR photography galleries HERE.

July 31 , 2008: Lisa and Kort has a little getaway to Pine Island Florida. You can see some unedited photos from the trip HERE or view the retouched versions in his Renderosity Gallery.

January 26, 2008:  Kort's Jet Stream Sunset photograph tied for first place honors in Digital ImageMaker's "The Image" contest. The task was to produce the most eye-catching image possible and was open to both photographers and digital artists:

September 19, 2007:  Kort's Lazy River photograph was chosen for the first ever international juried Infrared Photography calendar. The Masters of Infrared Photography 2008 calendar is available for ordering through this website only:

After being a member of the online art gallery Renderosity.com for many years, Kort was selected to become a photography coordinator in 2006. In August 2007, he was promoted to the postion of moderator.

The Photo-Genesis International Photography Exhibit is now showing at the Slemp Gallery in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. It is running from Saturday August 25th 2007 through Saturday October 6th 2007.

The show was curated by Mr. Timothy Burns and sponsored by Mountain Empire Community College and their Art Department Head, Alice Harrington. Thirty-five artists chosen from the site are included in the show.

There are representatives from Sweden, Finland, Norway, England, France, Germany, Belgium, New Zealand, Australia, Scotland and the States to name a just a few. Kort is among these artists - his is the abstract blue and red photograph. You can see a Flash presentation of the work by clicking HERE.

Since opening a gallery at the popular art site Runtime DNA in May 2007, several of Kort's photographs have been recognized as Images of the Week.

Planit3D is a website featuring 3D and photographic art. In January 2006, Kort was ask to become a moderator for the Photography Forum and accepted.

On April 14, 2006, a photograph of Kort's was chosen as Kodak's Picture of the Day and it was featured on Kodak's website on on their giant display in New York's Times square. Click HERE to read more and see the image.
