For Alphabeasts!  –  Drawing fictional creatures from A-Z
with a new letter every Monday.

B is for...

Beholder  –  ©2011 Kort Kramer
Hateful, aggressive, avaricious spherical monster that is most frequently found underground. It resembles a floating orb of flesh with a large mouth, single central eye, and lots of smaller eyestalks on top with deadly magical powers. The Beholder is among the most classic of all Dungeons & Dragons monsters, appearing in every edition of the game since 1975.

Bulette  –  ©2011 Kort Kramer
From the First Edition Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual. A large landshark that burrows underground and feeds on humans, horses, and halflings. Bulettes don't care much for dwarves though.

Brain Mole  –  ©2011 Kort Kramer
From the First Edition Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual. Small mole-like mammals that can psionically "burrow" into another creature's mind.

I started Alphabeasts! late and didn't get to do the letter A.
I may revisit it at a later date.

AlphaBeasts! for the letter "C"
